MEMBERSHIP

Categories of Membership
 
The Board of RS3 welcomes eligible healthcare professionals to join our Society to develop the expertise of robot-assisted surgery in Singapore. The available categories of membership are:
 
Full membership ($100 per year)

1. Surgeons actively participating in or who have substantial experience in robotic surgery who meet the criteria as determined by the Membership Committee or the Board of RS3
2. Full members will enjoy all rights and privileges of RS3
3. Only Full members can vote and be elected as members of the Board.

 
Affiliate membership ($50 per year)
 
Affiliate membership will generally be determined when a national robotic or other society holds an agreement with RS3 for its individually named membership to hold Affiliate RS3 membership (e.g. MOU between RS3 and Singapore Urological Association)

1. Affiliate members shall be entitled to enjoy all rights and privileges of full members of RS3 including the right to vote, hold office on RS3 Board, and eligibility for discounted rates
2. Membership rejection of Affiliate members remains the right of RS3 Board as outlined under Full membership

 
Associate Membership  ($50 per year)

1. Surgeons, doctors, fellows and residents with special interest in robotic surgery
2. Operating theatre staff, including nurses and technicians
3. Students in medicine or nursing or allied health
4. Associate Members are not entitled to vote or hold office
